Technical rapeseed oil

Unrefined rapeseed oil is a renewable raw material for the chemical industry and energy purposes. Today, there are three main directions of its use: as a fuel, lubricants, and also as a starting material for synthesis in the chemical industry.

Due to the high relevance of environmental protection problems, rapeseed oil is increasingly being used as a fuel (biodiesel). Its use makes it possible to partially reduce the consumption of limited natural oil reserves and reduce the CO2 load on the environment. During the production and use of 1 liter of diesel fuel, 3 kg of CO2 is released, and 0.5 kg of biodiesel is released.

A large field of application of rapeseed oil is soap making. This is a great cheap base that provides an opportunity for free experiments with active components. It is excellent for obtaining liquid silky soap.
